I believe that%26#039;s a compact point-and-shoot. Am I right?
You should be able to get various shutter speeds depending on the Scene Mode you select (Sports would be fastest).
But there may also be a %26quot;Manual Record or Camera Manual%26quot; mode to set shutter speed since you%26#039;ve got a mid-range priced P%26amp;S. Did you try the mode dial on the upper right (rear of camera)?
Did you read the User Guide that came with the camera? That%26#039;s exactly what they%26#039;re good for, is describing camera operations and how to use them. You might discover all kinds of neat things your camera does if you check it out (and also might prevent any tech mishaps by reading what not to do...).
