The max on my dslr is 30 seconds on TV option. Under the bulb, it can go as long as I hold it, but I don%26#039;t really want to hold it for 30 minutes or so. How do I set it as long as I want?|||you probably shouldnt be literally holding your camera when you%26#039;re taking pictures with that slow of a shutter speed...

for ex canon cameras are different from nikon%26#039;s and the nikon d40 is different from the d80.
on my d80 there are two dials, one on the front of the grip and one on the back. the one on the back is for shutter speed and the one on the front is for aperture.|||use a remote shutter release and lock the button down.
