How to change shutter speed on canon powershot A1100 ?

Please explain step by step =)|||Below is a links to download the user guide (manual) to your camera. It should provide the information you need to be certain whether or not your camera allows you to manually change your shutter speed.

Hope this helps.

Mark|||This being a small point and shoot you probably can%26#039;t. The only cameras offering such control are

high end point and shoot, Fuji 9600 is one of those and SLR cameras.|||Since nobody else wants to bother to read the manual, I%26#039;ll answer your question.

No you can%26#039;t adjust the shutter speed of the A1100. It is programmed for Auto Exposure which automatically adjusts the aperture and shutter speed as the light changes.

The only influence you can have on shutter speed (sort of) is to use the sports, kids, or portrait mode to get the fastest shutter speed possible or the night snapshot (yes, even in broad daylight) to get the slowest possible shutter speed.
