Is it possible to change the shutter speed on a fuji finepx f470?

the images i take are all blurry. even the slightest movement will make everything blur. peoples facial movements, cats passing by, leaves falling, etc. it doen%26#039;t matter how bright or dark the room is. is there a way i can change the shutter speed? or change some other setting to that it won%26#039;t make everything look like a bad acid trip?|||You cannot select your own shutter speed on the F470. The only thing that I can think of is that you are not giving the camera time to lock in the focus.

You need to half-press the shutter button...and wait till the camera beeps or the little focus box turns green...then you can press the button all the way down. But you will also need to keep the camera reasonably steady while doing this.

If you are using AUTO, then most of the time the camera should %26#039;get it right%26#039;, so I don%26#039;t know why every photo would be blurry. Never ever use Digital zoom.

Other than that, try selecting the various scene modes for different situations.

Choose SPORT for moving objects (the camera should apply a faster shutter speed).

Choose PARTY perhaps for indoor low light shots etc. etc.

Good luck...and if you still can%26#039;t get blur free photos, then take it back and see if the dealer can have a look, because the auto focus system might be faulty.
