how do you change the shutter speed to about 2 hours?
How do you change the shutter speed on a canon 350d?
Pooky forgot to tell you that you will have to hold the shutter release button down for two hours. Some remote shutter release devices can lock the shutter open and you just have to remember to monitor the shot and use some kind of external timer to remind you to close the shutter when the time is up.
How do you change the shutter speed on a canon 350d?
You will need to set your shutter speed to %26quot;b%26quot; or %26quot;bulb%26quot;. Then press the shutter release, then come back in two hours and press it again to close the shutter.
Do this with a remote if you have one. Pressing the shutter button twice will cause the camera to shake, and could blur your image.
If you don't have a remote, use a 2 second delay on your shutter to start the picture. To end it, quickly, but gently, over the lens with your lens cap, black cloth, etc. The idea is to cut out the light before you jiggle the camera.
B- or Bulb Function..if there is that kind of Function settings on Your Camera. Press the shutter. so that the Mirror will Open..till you press the Shutter again. it takes the shot.
There is no setting for 2 hours.
Set it to B. And it stays open as long as you want.

Haha. Yes, I forgot that. It is going to be a one cold night.
Keep turning the command dial till you read ''bulb'' or ''time'' on the LCD. The shutter would remain open till you keep the shutter -release button pressed.
It would work in ''M'' and shutter priority mode.
