How do i change the shutter speed on an olympus fe-310?

how do i change the shutter speed on an olympus fe-310?

ive read through the manual but it doesn't tell you how to change it even though there is a section on it

does anyone kn ow how ot chnage it?



and also when i try to focus sometimes it takes ages for the square to go green. is there a settting to make it focus better?

You cannot manually change the shutter speed and/or aperture because the FE-310 is a point %26amp; shoot camera, meaning the camera takes full control.



However, you CAN use one of the scene modes if you want the camera to apply a different shutter speed/aperture. For instance, if you want the camera to use a faster shutter speed (to stop or freeze action), you should use the 'Sport' setting. This works best in good lighting.

Or, if you want to shoot at night (using a slow shutter speed), you will need to mount the camera on a tripod, set the delay timer and use the 'Fireworks' setting.



There is no setting to make your camera focus better (especially in very low light), because it's a limitation of your camera's auto-focus system. Making sure there is adequate light available, is the only way around it.
