How to change the shutter speed?

How can you change the shutter speed on the Sony Cyber Shot DSC-W330, to where when you take a photo you can stand still and like traffic still going, and viewing the photo the objects are blurry and you are in focus?

If your camera can do it you're going to need to set the mode into manual, then go into the menu and see if you can change the shutter speed/Aperture/ISO. If I remember the W330 cannot change it's shutter speed to the speeds that you are looking for. I know you can change the ISO, the Aperture should be Automatic, but you might be able to change the Shutter Speed somewhere on the side menus.

The features you are looking for are mostly seen on larger point-and-shoot cameras and D-SLRs/SLR's.

If it can change you're going to want a low Aperture, high ISO(Depending on how bright it is, higher ISO=Brighter picture, but more static in the picture) and high shutter speed. I would also suggest getting a tripod, even those 10-20$ mini tripods will do. When dealing with high shutter speeds even the most unnoticeable shake in your hand will cause blur in your picture.

Whenever I have a question/problem such as yours, I read the user's guide (aka %26quot;the manual%26quot;).

It is amazing just how much I always learn from that.

If that doesn't help (or if I'm interested in a product I don't own), I check the manufacturer's website.

They have descriptions and specs for their gadgets, often have user forums, and the decent manufacturers all let you download the manuals in electronic form (so losing the book is no longer a problem).

99% of the time that does the trick.
